A Virginia native, Cathy received her law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 1999. After practicing in the estate planning department of a local firm, Cathy opened her own firm, Cathy Jackson Leitner, PLC in 2003. The firm expanded in 2015 with the addition of an associate attorney and was renamed Leitner Law Group, PLC. Cathy serves as a trusted advisor to individual clients and families throughout the Valley with regard to estate tax planning, special needs planning, business succession planning, estate and trust administration, and elder law. She is among the top 2% of Virginia attorneys selected as a member of Virginia's Legal Elite for 2009 as published by Virginia Business Magazine. Cathy's passion for her work and her ability to connect with individuals and make them feel at ease allows her to create long-lasting relationships with clients and their families.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Sociology from Bridgewater College in 2005, Ashleigh graduated from Regent University School of Law in 2008. She then worked for 6 1/2 years at a local personal injury and workers' compensation firm, but recognized that those areas of law were not her passion. When Ashleigh joined Leitner Law Group in April of 2015, she immediately knew that practicing in the various areas associated with estate planning and estate administration would accomplish her goal of one on one interaction with clients to help them achieve their legal goals. Ashleigh strives to educate various groups in the community about the importance of giving their wishes legal affect. She also enjoys helping families grow through adoption. In her spare time, Ashleigh enjoys spending time with her husband and son, singing in the church choir, and anticipating the arrival of their second child in July 2016.
